Singer Jennifer Lopez revealed during an on air interview on Tuesday with Ross King of "Good Morning Britain" that she is very insecure about her voice.

According to Mirror Online, the superstar, known as a triple threat for her music, dance skills and film career, was in the U.K. to promote her upcoming film about her "Dance Again" tour.

During the interview, she admitted to feeling insecure about her singing voice because she has been told she isn't good.

"I'm very insecure about my voice," Lopez said. "After being told for so many years that you're not as good as this person or that person, it beats away on your insecurities. I always wanted to be a singer and a dancer but when they start dissecting you like that, it does work away at your insecurities."

While she tries to stay strong and doesn't listen to everything written about her, Lopez admitted that sometimes things do affect her.

"You know? I'm like, 'Wow, I thought I was good at this,'" she added. "It does get to you. I'm only human."

The singer also revealed that the tour was a tough one for her because she was going through her divorce with the father of her children, Marc Anthony.

Lopez has had to defend herself from critics plenty of times before. In early 2015, the singer spoke about defending her sexy image.

"I'm not allowed to be sexy because I'm a mom?" she asked in the March issue of Complex Magazine.

The star has often been criticized for dressing or dancing too sexy, especially after she had her twins. While she admitted she want to avoid embarrassing her children in the future, Lopez said that the most important thing to her is being there for her kids, and she will eventually tone down her image.

She said, "I'm not saying that one day they may not be like, 'Mom! Why did you do that?!' But I don't think that in 10 years I'm going to be doing that either."
