Robin Thicke's recent effort to get his separated wife back seems to be working -- Paula Patton is reportedly considering giving the "Blurred Lines" singer one more chance.

The childhood sweethearts announced their separation on Feb. 24 after nine years of marriage, because Thicke had been caught flirting behind Patton's back. "We will always love each other and be best friends, however we have mutually decided to separate at this time," they said in a released statement.

Ever since the split, Robin Thicke has been doing whatever he can do to get Paula Patton back. For instance, just three days after the separation, the singer dedicated "Lost Without U" to his spouse on stage in Fairfax, Va., where he admitted that he was not willing to give up so easily on his marriage. "For y'all that don't know, me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back," he said.

When a fan yelled, "I love Paula!" during another concert, Thicke responded saying, "I do, too!" onstage at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. He then performed his heartfelt version of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" and told his audience about his feelings on love: "Never stop believing and you never stop loving, and even if it is over, make sure you treat each other right. Treat your family right. Take care your mom, take care of your kids and good things will come to you. Just keep believing that God is good."

Patton is now said to be considering reconciliation. "We're told Robin and Paula never stopped communicating," a source said. "They talk constantly, but she was very clear the day she dumped him... She wanted a DIVORCE."

She is also pleased that Thicke has been a good father to their three-year-old son Julian since the split, seeing him whenever he can and keeping in touch with him when he is working. The source added that Paula Patton has no plans to hire a divorce lawyer, but she still is not impressed with the singer's onstage pronouncements of love.
