Ronda Rousey has once again spoken out about her role as Captain Marvel.

During a conversation with Entertainment Tonight Rousey once again spoke candidly about her desires to play Captain Marvel. She said, "Hopefully by the time 'Captain Marvel' comes around, I will have enough skills and experience in the field for them to seriously consider me."

Rousey also spoke about her upcoming role in "Road House" and the excitement she had of being in the movie. She said, "I was pursuing 'Road House' for like, two years. I really don't think that any other man could be [Patrick Swayze]. I think it's a wise angle to take to kind of do a little gender flip of the role."

The wrestler has recently been getting many roles in Hollywood, and this year alone she was seen in cameo roles in "Furious 7" and "Entourage." That said, her experience as an actress has not been tested and that is why many believe Marvel will not contract her for the role. The company has made sure to cast Hollywood's best actresses, including Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Natalie Portman and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Rousey just obtained a role alongside Mark Wahlberg in the film "Mile 22," and she hopes this will give her more experience for Marvel film, which has not started casting as of yet.

"I'm really looking forward to doing my first starring role opposite Mark Wahlberg," she noted.

"Captain Marvel" will be part Marvel phase three and will mark the first superhero movie by the company which stars a woman as the central character. It is also slated to be released at the same time as DC comics Wonder Woman, which will star Gal Gadot.

Marvel has a number of films coming soon, including "Captain America: Civil War," "Black Panther," "Doctor Strange" and "Ant-Man 2."

As for Rousey, she is currently training for the Nov. 14 fight against Holly Holm at UFC 193.
