"Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco may have just entered splitsville a month ago, but it doesn't mean that she is headed into another relationship — not even with her ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki.

Rekindling theories have hit the pair with some speculating that their roles in the CBS series as a married couple, Penny and Leonard, has turned into real life romance yet again. According to Daily Mail, the two dated for two years until December 2010 and have crossed paths together as Mr. and Mrs. Hofstadter on-screen.

In a report by E! News, rumors circulated last week, saying that Cuoco divorced his former husband Ryan Sweeting because she "never got over" her love for Galecki. Meanwhile, Hollywood Life reports an OK! Magazine insider saying, "Kaley has a special bond with Johnny, an intensity she never had with Ryan."

In an Instagram post, the twosome debunked dating theories and reassured everyone that they are just best of friends as Cuoco posted a photo of them together doing a fist bump.

"So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here," she said in her caption. "Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds- Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!"

Galecki also uploaded a similar photo of them posing in front of the camera and he captioned, "No scandals / home wreckers / pregnancies here, y'all. Just profound friendship."

Rumors are not a new thing for the former couple since they have been bugged by it ever since their split. Speaking to E! News, Cuoco admits that even though she and Galecki have shared a romantic relationship, their affiliation as of now is nothing but platonic. The two remained close friends since 2010 that Galecki was even invited to Cuoco and Sweeting's wedding on New Year's Eve 2013.

"We dated like 5 years ago," Cuoco said of Galecki. "So I think we've both moved on. And Johnny's actually one of my best friends. It's a situation that ended well. I understand sometimes it doesn't."

Cuoco also testified that even Galecki and her former husband are good friends. "And he's one of my dearest friends and Ryan loves him. I got lucky. That could've been horrible," she added.

Cuoco and Sweeting have filed for a divorce on Sept. 3. Reports said that the split was caused by Sweeting's addiction to painkillers after he underwent surgery in 2014.
