Bobby Brown is in the midst of penning his memoir, in which he intends to openly reflect upon his experiences with ex-wife Whitney Houston and their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

Less than three months after burying his daughter, Brown recently revealed he has found some level of comfort in sharing his thoughts and expressing his feelings to fans.

Entitled "My Prerogative," BET reports he recently branded the memoir project as a "raw and unvarnished" work, adding, "my fans and other readers of this book ... will feel that I have been as honest and open with them in these pages as I have tried to be my entire life."

Bobbi Kristina, 22, died in late July, some three months after being found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at the Georgia home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon. Whitney Houston died almost three years before her daughter, when she too was found immersed under water in a bathtub at the Beverly Hills hotel where she was staying. The two are now buried side by side.

"Right after I signed on to write my story, I went through one of the most agonizing traumas I had ever experienced with the death of my daughter," Brown added. "But I was surprised by how therapeutic it was to work on this project, to look at the entire arc of my life and to realize that although there has been considerable pain, I have also been incredibly blessed."

Authorities have now launched a criminal probe into the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina's death that reportedly targets the 25-year-old Gordon as the primary suspect. In addition, the conservator of Bobbi Kristina's estate has hit Gordon with a multimillion dollar wrongful death suit, alleging that on the day in question, he served his girlfriend a "toxic cocktail" that essentially rendered her defenseless.

"My Prerogative" is slated to hit store bookshelves June 2016.
