Watch out, boys! Beyoncé, Jennifer Garner and their fellow independent women come together to give America a very important message in "Ban Bossy" campaign.

The powerful women teamed up with Lifetime television network for the public service announcement, which highlights how girls are discouraged from leadership roles because of name-calling and biased labeling -- in this case, being called "bossy."

"Girls are less interested in leadership than boys because they worry about being called 'bossy,'" Beyoncé claims. In the short clip, which encourages everyone to sign a petition to band the five-letter word at banbossy.com, the "Drunk in Love" singer also declares, "I'm not bossy -- I'm the boss!"

In the campaign that certainly lends more power to The Girl Scouts of the United States and Leanin.org, the 13 Going On 30 actress says, "Being labeled something matters," while Glee star Jane Lynch speaks out, "I think the word 'bossy' is just a squasher."

Alongside the entertainment celebrities, Facebook executive Sheryl Sandberg, who actually founded Leanin.org, former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, and designer Diane von Furstenberg appear in the girl-power campaign.

"We need to recognize the many ways we systematically discourage leadership in girls from a young age -- and instead, we need to encourage them," says Sandberg. "So the next time you have the urge to call your little girl bossy? Take a deep breath and praise her leadership skills instead."

Rice tells girls "there are no limits on your horizon," while von Furstenberg challenges girls to "dare to be you."
