Singing star Miguel insists he would easily pass up the chance to perform in any arena if the opportunity meant having to share the same stage as Donald Trump.

"There's a tremendous responsibility that we all have just to not be f*cking ignorant," the singer told Yahoo News of his reasoning.

Even as he insists he isn't quite sure who he might vote for in 2016, Miguel unequivocally let it be known that it won't be the bombastic real estate mogul and current GOP leading candidate.

As for all the appeal he seems to generating, including the gig of hosting an upcoming episode of "Saturday Night Live," the crooner added, "I believe it will be good for ratings, I'm sure that's how they're looking at it too. But you know, I think there's also a responsibility that you have to have. And I don't think ignorance deserves that kind of attention and unfortunately we live in a world where attention is the ultimate currency."

Since announcing his candidacy, Trump has proven to be a lightning rod, sparking much debate when he recently boasted if elected he could easily deport some 11 million undocumented immigrants in less than two years all as a matter of sound management.

Even as he insists his mind is not made up and has not yet decided to support any one candidate or party, Miguel strongly hinted Trump does not check the boxes for him.

"When I do vote it'll be for the candidate that wants to do something about the issues that matter to me and that's the best thing that we can do," he said.

To the dismay of the National Council of La Raza, the largest domestic Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization, Trump is scheduled to host the Nov. 7, episode of SNL. He previously hosted the show in April 2004.
