EPL Week 9 Schedule, Fixtures, Table & Stream: Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United Battling for Top Spot
Manchester City will look to remain on top, while Arsenal and Manchester United are aiming to overtake them in Week 9 of the 2015-16 English Premier League season.
Manchester City vs. AFC Bournemouth
Manchester City will try to retain the top spot in the standings when they collide with AFC Bournemouth on Saturday at Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City lost the top spot in Week 7, but they bounced back big time two weeks ago. They run away with a 6-1 win over Newcastle United, and the results of the other Week 7 games worked into their favor.
Bournemouth are currently 15th in the standings and are coming off a 1-1 draw against Watford, which came a week after taking a 2-1 defeat to Stoke.
Manchester City are heavily favored to win against Bournemouth on Saturday, but they will have to do it without injured key players like David Silva, Sergio Aguero and Aleksandar Kolarov.
Watford vs. Arsenal
Meanwhile, Arsenal will attempt to overtake Manchester City when they face Watford on Saturday at Vicarage Road Stadium in England.
A win for Arsenal, combined with a defeat for Manchester City against Bournemouth, will make them the top team in the league after Week 9 of competition.
Manchester United vs. Everton
Like Arsenal, Manchester United will also have a chance to regain the top spot when they collide with Everton at Goodison Park in England.
If Manchester City lose and Manchester United win against Everton, the Red Devils will overtake their rivals. The Red Devils are expected to go all out, as they are aching to bounce back from a humbling 4-0 defeat to Arsenal during their Week 8 match on Oct. 4 at Emirates Stadium.
