For Grammy and Emmy award-winning crooner Justin Timberlake, home is where the heart is, and perhaps, also the soul.

The Memphis-born singer got emotional on Sunday after becoming an inductee of his hometown Music Hall of Fame and even tear up while he delivered his speech, according to an ET Online report.

"This is the f---ing coolest thing that has ever happened to me," Timberlake said. "The Grammys are political. The Emmys are political. Memphis is not political. And don't get me started on Hollywood... Memphis is the global capital of soul, and that soul is not just in the music, it's in the people," the "Suit and Tie" singer said.

At age 36, Timberlake is the youngest to be inducted at Memphis Hall of Fame, ranking along music legends like Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, rappers Three 6 Mafia and rock 'n roll godfather Jim Dickinson.

Timberlake continued his funny yet emotional speech, saying that he is proud to be a Memphis man and even boasted that whenever he is asked where he hails from, he would always say "Memphis." The singer also shared to his near 2,000-audience his favorite thing about hometown that has taught him a gold belief: Memphians are never apologetic for being who they are.

According to Rolling Stone, Timberlake's introduction speech was given by his close pal, Jimmy Fallon and he never failed to hit laughs in The Cannon Center of Performing Arts.

"When they first asked me to help induct Justin into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame, three things came to mind: How much? Where am I staying? And most importantly, how do I get out of this," Fallon quipped. "This is Justin Timberlake we're talking about, and who better to induct him than me, Mrs. Justin Timberlake."

The comedian shared how the hit maker has given "110 percent" of his self to everything he dealt with and also said that it is "such a big honor for Justin... it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy."

While he teared up in his speech, People reports that the singer has thanked his real Mrs. Timberlake, Jessica Biel, for being his "rock."

"Baby, I love you more than I could put into words and more than any song I could ever write," Timberlake told his "beautiful, loving and incredibly understanding of her husband's shortcomings" wife.

Earlier, Timberlake also thanked the Memphians for his new honor in an Instagram post and said: "Thank you to my city and The Memphis Music Hall Of Fame for last night. I am truly honored to share this with all of you. #MTown #AllHeart."

Aside from Timberlake, Scotty Moore, Alberta Hunter, Al Jackson, Jr., Memphis Slim, Charlie Rich and Sam Moore of Sam & Dave were also named to receive the honor.
