Khloé Kardashian and family are planning on sending Lamar Odom to substance abuse rehab facility once he has physically recovered enough to attend treatment.

Reports are Odom is now on the mend after being hospitalized late last week, though his complete recovery is rumored to be far from a done deal. According to TMZ, the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner will need months of physical therapy if he has any chance of overcoming all the damage already done to his body. 

On Monday, several media outlets reported he was already on the verge of being transferred from the Las Vegas hospital where he has spent the last several days to a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles.

Kardashian has vowed to be by her ex's side through it all, and she has kept a constant vigil by his bedside throughout his ongoing ordeal. Reports are she has remained silent about what impact her plans might have on her current relationship with NBA star James Harden.

"They are already talking about how to get him clean and sending him to rehab as soon as he's able to go," a source told Hollywood Life. "They are also hiring someone to be with him 24/7 to make sure he doesn't slip back and do drugs again."

The 35-year-old former NBA star was rushed to the emergency room unresponsive and suffering from an apparent drug overdose, after being found in his room at the Love Ranch brothel with blood coming out both his nose and mouth.

Employees at the brothel have since told authorities Odom did cocaine and ingested at least 10 herbal Viagra pills over the course of the three days he was residing there.
