The next episode of "The Walking Dead" is all about the journey home. The main group of characters are still on the road, leading the Walkers away from the safe zone, but new challenges loom ahead for the zombie fighters that may prove too much.

The third episode of the season, titled "Thank You," will feature the climax of the events that have been building over the first two episodes, as the protagonists work to keep Alexandria safe.

According to Spoilers Guide, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the others know that leading the herd away from Alexandria is everything. But the task is taking way too long, and the group is beginning to tire.

As fans of "TWD" have learned, survival is the name of the game. Taking down a single Walker is easy. Even taking down 10 of them would be easy for these seasoned warriors. But taking down herds is unreasonable, even for them. To overcome the herd's massive numbers, the gang is put in the uncomfortable but necessary position of acting as bait, luring the Walkers far, far away.

The promotional video for the next episode indicates that, even though the group can move slowly, allowing the Walker herd behind them to keep up, they must remain moving constantly, covering a lot of ground toward their ultimate goal.

Meanwhile, in the last episode, the Wolves came into the picture and posed a new threat to the Alexandria community. Morgan (Lennie James) and Carol (Melissa McBride) were able to beat the aggressors back, but fans have to wonder just how Rick is going to handle the situation once he finally returns. Suffice it to say that this season could end up having some tragic turns yet to come for the town.

Episode 3 will air Sunday, Oct. 25 on cable channel AMC at 9 p.m. EDT.
