Considering all the things that happened in the last episode of "Madam Secretary," the last thing fans are expecting is for Elizabeth McCord to have to protect her own daughter from potential media exposure.

Episode 4, titled "Waiting for Taleju," will air on broadcast network CBS this Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

Season 2 of "Madam Secretary" has been finding so many different angles to play that it is sometimes hard to keep up. To start out the episode, according to Spoilers Guide, there will be pictures of Elizabeth's daughter Stevie McCord with President Dalton's son Harrison. But the photos that surface are incriminating to say the least and she must protect her daughter from the media onslaught as well as the aftermath.

This also makes things even more difficult now that Elizabeth is largely cut out of Dalton's inner circle following a disagreement in regards to his response to the growing tension with Russia.

She had made it clear in the last episode, according to Entertainment Weekly, that she had a clear path to settling the Ukraine crisis without causing World War III. This involved some tricky details, but it could have worked. But things did not go as planned and she soon found out that she had another enemy to deal with: Maria Ostrov.

A series of events occurs when Blake was accidentally photographed with an anti-Russian protestor, eventually leading to Ostrov coming out of her shell and ultimately betrayed Elizabeth -- or so she thought.

Take into account the fact that the Russian President is now dead and the U.S. is heading for a diplomatic crisis now that the winds of peace have turned away from the situation. The last thing the Russians said to the Americans was "Russia is not afraid of you."
