Latino pop star Enrique Iglesias has been dating his girlfriend, retired tennis player Anna Kournikova, for what feels like forever, so are they finally ready to tie the knot?

Iglesias, now 38 years old, met Kournikova, now 32 years old, back in 2001. Kournikova was the sexy music video model for Iglesias's 2001 hit, "Escape."

"She was just the coolest girl in the world to me, and we just, we got along," Iglesias said via E! News during an upcoming interview on CBS Sunday Morning.

The couple has now been dating for over a decade, but it seems that that is just the way the lovebirds like it.

"I'm not against marriage, not at all, but when you've been with someone for such a long time, I don't think it's going to make -- bring us closer together," Iglesias explained.

Kournikova reportedly agrees with her boyfriend.

"I don't think it's going to ... make us any happier," Iglesias added.

Iglesias also addressed rumors regarding his father, musician Julio Iglesias. Reports claim that the two are no longer speaking.

"I love him, and I respect him dearly, but we don't see each other that much," he told CBS Sunday Morning's Rita Braver.

Still, Iglesias insists that family is family.

"You know, he knows if he ever needed me, I'd be the first one there and vice versa," he added.

The Spanish singer has plenty of other things to worry about besides planning a wedding or hanging out with his father. The multi-platinum artist is releasing his 10th album, titled Sex + Love (Sexo + Amor), this month.

"When you write songs, when you're on stage, it's all about the vibe," Iglesias said. "If you're not vibing and you're not feeling good, people notice that."

Sex + Love, which is Iglesias's second bilingual album, drops March 18. Iglesias's interview with CBS Sunday Morning airs March 16.
