Has Jeff Goldblum been overlooked for the new Jurassic Park film?

Goldblum played played Dr. Ian Malcolm, one of the main characters from the original Jurassic Park trilogy but according to the Epoch Times, he has not been contacted to appear in the upcoming Jurassic 4 (Jurassic World).

But keeping it professional, Goldblum says that regardless if he's in the film or not, he'll be first in line to buy tickets and will definitely see the movie when it comes out.

"No, nobody asked me, but I was perfectly satisfied with the two that I did. I'm still satisfied with that and I'll be the first in line to see anything else, so, you know," he added, according to Enstarz.

A gracious Jeff, 61, says: "I was happy to work with Mr. Spielberg on those couple of movies. And I think I'm fully satisfied. But I love anything that he's associated with. I'd love to see that and I've always liked dinosaurs."

The odd thing is director Roland Emmerich has revealed earlier that they were in talks with Goldblum to reprise his role, questions Huffington Post

Who is His Replacement?

The Grand Budapest Hotel actor has a surprising answer for who can be his replacement. Goldblum suggested a casting option for Ian Malcolm.

If the movie is a reboot of the original, the actor says: "A reboot, like another version with someone playing Ian Malcolm? Maybe there should be a young Ian Malcolm. Who would it be?"

"Justin Bieber, probably," says the star. "The best version of the young me is Justin Bieber."

Independence Day is a Go

Don't cry for Jeff, he doesn't want you to. The Titanic actor has confirmed while working on the Jurassic Park sequel seems improbably at this point, he has confirmed he'll be appearing in the sequel of Independence Day.
