"Dance Showdown," the popular online dance competition, premiered on Oct. 13 on YouTube and is well underway with its first two episodes.

The show, headed by "So You Think You Can Dance" alum Domonic Sandoval, a.k.a D-trix, features a variety of social media stars competing for a prize of $25,000 and a new car by taking on a variety of dance challenges.

This season the competition added Latino social media stars, Jackie Hernandez and Jorge Narvaez, to take on other popular YouTube and Vine stars.

On the first episode of the season, fans got to see their favorite stars get paired up with professional dancers who they will be working with all season long. The dancers boast credentials such as competing on "America's Best Dance Crew," dancing for Taylor Swift and Beyoné, and doing choreography for "Dancing With The Stars."

The pairs -- Jackie and Anze (#TeamBeautyandtheBeat), AJ and KK (#TeamMightyBytes), Anisha & Jorge (#TeamCheesyMac), Brinn and Brian (#TeamBSquared), Matt and Gabbie (#TeamShowUp) and Mike and Arika (#TeamGunzandGlam) -- got to pick their team names which will be used all season.

For the second episode of the season, airing on Oct. 20, the partners were asked to take part in a "Dance Charades" challenge. The challenge included dancing a variety of popular dance moves, like Beyoncé's "Put a Ring on It," "The Whip" "The Mash Potato," and "The Stanky Leg," to get their partners to figure them out.

Like the current season, the show's previous seasons have contributed to the way people watch reality shows while promoting social media and dance at the same time.

"This new season of 'Dance Showdown' will give viewers the opportunity to see their favorite digital stars in a new light," said the CEO of DanceOn, Amanda Taylor. "'Dance Showdown' doesn't only focus on the dance routines. The program offers fans a more profound look at the personalities, show production and the preparation of competitions."
