Bradley Cooper Sounds Off On Romance With Amy Schumer & Jennifer Lawrence
Bradley Cooper is one of the most eligible bachelors of the generation. So much so that two of the hottest female stars are attached to his name as well: Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer.
"Trainwreck" actress Schumer has never been shy about letting the world know she's smitten by the blue-eyed A-list star. In her recent monologue at the "Saturday Night Live," the comedienne claimed she was dating Cooper after he wouldn't let her get up and leave their conversation during the Time 100 Gala.
"I don't know how Hollywood works but I'm pretty sure I'm dating Bradley Cooper," she told the audience, adding that she even changed her Facebook status to "Engaged to Bradley Cooper".
The "American Sniper" actor explained the story behind the bit in "The Howard Stern Show" last Wednesday.
"[Schumer's] very attractive," Cooper told the host, according to a report from The Daily Beast. "She wasn't [hitting on me] either. It's a bit. But I do remember her coming to sit down because we had an awkward exchange at the MTV Movie Awards where we didn't know each other, and she was sort of yelling my name and then I looked over and was like, 'Hey,' and then we talked. But at first, it was like, 'Who is this person screaming at me?'"
After that, Cooper shared that he teased the funny girl about it during the gala when they bumped into each other.
"So then I saw her at this [Time 100] event and she came over," he continued. "All that stuff of her getting called and me saying no, no, no-that really happened. I thought I was getting a little creepy because I was making her stay."
After clearing the air on his real relationship with Schumer, Stern didn't let the actor get out of the hot seat and turned to another famous lady around Cooper.
The host went for the jugular and asked him directly, "When are you [and Jennifer Lawrence] going to have sex?"
Although it's not out of character for the outspoken host to be this straightforward, Stern was actually asking about on-screen sex after the pair shared the screen for a few films.
"Never, I don't think," he responded to the question. "I said that [she's too young] once on the carpet just as a diffuse thing and it became a thing because the girl I was seeing was as young as she was...It just didn't happen. It's just not the way we are together."
