Latin Grammy Awards 2015 News, Performances: J Balvin, Juan Luis Guerra, Natalia Jiménez & More to Perform
The first group of performers for this year's Latin Grammy Awards was announced on Oct. 22.
According to a press release by the Latin Recording Academy, Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin, music icon Juan Luis Guerra, Spanish singer Natalia Jiménez, ChocQuibTown, Raquel Sofía and Bomba Estéreo, who will be joined my actor and musician Will Smith, will all be performing.
Smith, who is featured on the remix version of Bomba Estéreo's song "Fiesta," will be taking the stage to perform the song with the group for the first time.
The night's biggest nominees are Natalia Lafourcade and Leonel García, who are up for a total of 11 nominations between them.
In addition to performing, Balvin also has two nominations. He is up for Best Urban Performance and Best Urban Song for hist hit single "Ay Vamos." Jiménez and Bomba Estéreo are both up for two nominations as well. Jiménez is nominated for Album of the Year and for Song of the Year for "Quédate Con Ella." Bomba Estéreo are up for Record of the Year for "Fiesta" and Best Alternative Music Album for "Amanecer."
Guerra is up for Record of the Year and Album of the Year. ChocQuibTown is nominated in the Best Tropical Fusion Album category for "El Mismo," while both Sofía and Matisse are nominated for Best New Artist.
Also nominated at this year's ceremony are Alejandro Sanz, Ricky Martin, Chino & Nacho, Juanes, Maná, Victor Manuelle, Banda el Recodo and Calle 13.

The Latin Grammy Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Univision on Nov. 19.
