Becky G Reveals Vocal Rest on Twitter
Singer Becky G revealed on Twitter on Thursday that she is currently on vocal rest, but she made light of the tough situation with a joke.
The singer used social media to make the revelation to her fans, handling the matter with poise and humor. She joked that people around her like the silence.
"Vocal rest really sucks. So annoying. On the other hand, I'm sure it's nice for the people around me considering that I talk so much. lol," she tweeted.

Fans quickly reacted to the news, wishing the star well. One Twitter user in particular concluded that her vocal rest was the reason the star was tweeting her thoughts.
Becky G was quick to point out that she always tweets what she thinks and doesn't require losing her voice to do so.

Regardless of her love for Twitter, the Mexican-American star asked fans for remedies to help heal her vocal chords. "Anyone know any tricks to get your voice back?" she asked fans on Twitter.

The singer must have gone on vocal rest not long after her most recent performance on the "La Familia" tour with J Balvin, which she posted pictures of on Tuesday.
The "Break A Sweat" singer shared images of herself on stage wearing a black leotard with sheer sleeves, fishnet stockings and leather over-the-knee boots. The star covered up a bit by wearing a red and black plaid shit around her waist.

She also shared a photo of herself and her dancers doing a routine to one of her hit songs, something she often shares on Instagram.
