Crossfit Routines & Crossfit Open 2014: Workouts & Exercise Competition For Men & Women
Crossfit has quickly become the new trend for fitness buffs these days. The workout has gained popularity due to the intensity of the training and the high achievement expectations. The Crossfit Open Workouts are also available; several companies host this challenge which is a competition to see who is able to do the best techniques. Participants are required to just videotape a Crossfit workout based on the rules of the given competition. Crossfit.com hosts an open workout challenge and the remaining challenges will end on March 27.
Each week, the deadline is every Monday, usually four days after the challenge is released. Late submissions are not accepted. For the men's category, some of the requirements include deadlifts and box jumps. The same is true for the women's category. However, the number of repetitions varies. Both men and women are also expected to finish the entire routine in 8 minutes.
For all submissions, there are certain requirements in order for the film to be considered a valid entry. The plates and barbells should be weighed to ensure that they are the correct weight. The height of the box, if used in the routine, must also be measured. All video submissions will be accepted only if they are uncut and unedited. This will ensure that all performances are accurate. There should also be a second person in the video who serves as the timer and must be seen in the video frame throughout the workout. The angle in which the video is shot must be clear and the routines must also be easily seen. The results of the overall standings are immediately posted so that contestants can keep track of who takes the lead.
Aside from those who are interested in taking part in the competition, volunteers are required to facilitate the challenges and help the judges along the way at the various venues around the world in which the competition is set to take place.
