Travis Barker and Rita Ora have been rumored to be dating. However, the Blink 182 drummer finally addressed those rumors and claimed there's nothing romantic with his relationship with the singer.

Barker revealed the real status of his relationship with the "Body on Me" singer during a guest appearance on "Larry King Now" on Friday, Oct. 23. The show host asked point blank if Barker is dating Rita Ora.

"She's actually just a friend," he said.

Barker neither denied nor confirmed that he is dating Rita Ora. So Larry pressed further and asked "So you're not dating?"

"I mean, we're just enjoying each other you know. She's awesome," Barker told the show host.

According to Celebuzz, Barker's statements somehow confirmed that he is not dating Rita but only "hooking up" with her.

In the same interview with Larry King, the father-of-two recalled his first meeting with the singer weeks ago. It was reportedly during his performance at the Power 106 and they have been friends since.

Barker first sparked dating speculations with Rita after he shared a photo of them together on his Instagram in September. The black-and-white snap shows the drummer and Rita posing for the camera. Barker had tagged the singer and Power 106 on the photo and captioned it, "Me and the beautiful." He also wrote the hash tag #Power106AllStars.

The 39-year-old had also spoken up about his relationship with Rita in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. Barker, who was previously married to beauty queen Shanna Moakler and whom he shares his two children with, also opened up about his first encounter with the singer at Power 106.

"I performed there with Tyga and Kid Ink. We had just met through passing. We have a mutual friend named Willie T. I had walked up and he was like, 'Yo, take a picture with Rita.' And I was like, 'Okay,'" the drummer revealed.

Barker also recalled how Rita was not hard to miss during the event because she was the "only hot cheerleader at the whole spot." According to the publication, Barker was referring to Rita's cheerleader uniform which she matched with a red lipstick.

The Blink 182 drummer added that there was nothing romantic during their encounter. They reportedly just took a photo together. However, he told Us Weekly that Rita is "obviously stunning and awesome." Barker revealed that he and Rita only spoke for a brief moment but he was able to introduce his son to her during the Power 106 event.
