"The Tonight Show" Jimmy Fallon needed a helping hand for the second time around as he tumbled during an award celebration in Harvard while holding a bottle of Jagermeister.

The mishap left his hand injured again months after he almost lost one of his fingers.

According a People source, the comedian accidentally tripped and landed over the ground while he joyously celebrated his receipt Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor given by Harvard's satirical publication, The Harvard Lampoon.

"It was all part of the celebration in the street and some random girl kneeled down in front of him abruptly as he was turning around and he tripped over her because he didn't see her," the tipster said.

As the comedian fell to the ground, Cambridge Police managed to help him immediately and Fallon headed to his limo pronto.

Fallon's another hand fiasco landed him on an emergency trip to Massachusetts General Hospital but the source added that the 41-year-old comedian is totally fine despite his fall. When he landed to the ground, parade goers asked if he was badly hurt. "He said he was fine," one witness said.

To ease up worry among his friends, Fallon took it to Instagram and gave assurance that he was fine. He uploaded a snap photo of his band-aided hand.

The funnyman's hands are unluckily susceptible of mishaps. According to Entertainment Weekly, Fallon got into his first hand accident when he tripped over a rug (a favorite of his wife that said "he couldn't wait to burn") and fell to the ground. It snapped his finger sideways and ending up "looking like a cheap horror movie." After his accident, he shared his experience with his "Tonight" audience and said he has had "ring avulsion."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fallon was crowned as the "Emperor of Comedy" and his coronation entails parading him through Harvard Square in a Roman Chariot. Prior to his unfortunate accident, Fallon took a roam that started by the Inn at Harvard and then subsequently ended at the Lampoon Castle, where the magazine's office is located.

Apart from the honor, the "Tonight" host also received an 85 cents-check, to which he joked, "I could get a sugar packet at Starbucks. This is amazing," and added that he has "a giant wallet [he] could put that in."

Fallon was the seventh to receive the award. Previous recipients include Jay Leno, John Cleese and Robin Williams.
