Maria Sharapova Sells Manhattan Beach Home for $5.25M
Tennis star player Maria Sharapova has unloaded a retreat place in Los Angeles.
Sharapova, the 28-year-old famous tennis athlete, sells her Manhattan Beach home for $5.25 million, Los Angeles Times reported. The professional player reportedly found a buyer discreetly for her abode, which she possessed since 2005.
Sharapova paid only about $3.74 million for the said house, the Times noted, citing public property records. Thus, the fourth-ranked women's tennis player, per Tennis Explorer, profited over one and a half million dollars from the sale of her Manhattan property.
Yet, her neighbors in the said community should not be shocked if they spot her within their beach community as she still has another property in the area, the outlet informed.
The new owners of the said abode will find delight in the three-story home as it has many features. The 3,750-square-foot house displays four bedrooms and five bedrooms and is comfortable enough for a medium-sized family. They can even let some friends and relatives to come over and stay for some days to experience the vibe of Manhattan Beach. The contemporary retreat property also comes with a garage that can accommodate two cars.
However, the rooftop patio that provides amazing views of the ocean will easily be one of the great areas within the home for relaxation and even meditation.
Other interior details of the said home include the use of steel beams and tempered glass windows that not only allow natural light to enter and fill the rooms, but also give great views of the surroundings.
Not just a tennis player
Sharapova, who reportedly has five Grand Slam titles so far, is not just a tennis player but also a businesswoman. She has her own candy line business named "Sugarpova."
She personally talked about it during her 2013 guesting on "The Ellen Show" while showing several flavors of these candies already out on the market for consumption. The player admitted that she really likes eating candies.
The stunner shared on Independent that doing business for Sugarpova is not totally taxing, as she has a great team behind her so that she does not have to worry about it while she has tournaments.
"My whole team at Sugarpova are very good and usually don't send me any emails. They do the work for those two weeks and then after the tournament I get loaded up with work. That's usually the time I have off, so during the Grand Slams I usually keep it very quiet," the Russian athlete said.
