Aaron Paul, star of the hit TV Drama Breaking Bad, and in the new film Need for Speed, admits that he almost married his wife on their first date.

Paul, 34, opens up in the April issue of Elle magazine, about meeting and falling in love with his wife Lauren Parsekian, 25. In the article, Paul reveals the details about their first date; the sage advice that he received from fellow Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston; and, that he and his wife Parsekian never argue.

Paul and Parsekian's first date was to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2011, ABC News reported. Right after the date, they took a trip to Vegas. Paul recalls telling the cab driver take them to the nearest chapel, "We're getting married," Paul said.

Depending on how you look at it, the chapel was closed. "We probably would have gone through with it, it would have been a pretty funny story," Paul said.

A year later, the couple got married in May, with a Parisian Carnival-themed wedding in Malibu, the New York Daily News reported.

Paul's instincts to get married might have been influenced by his fellow Breaking Bad co-star Cranston, who gave Paul great advice on finding the right one. Paul stated that Bryan knows that he is a hopeless romantic, saying Cranston always told him "to never settle," E! Online reported.

It is perhaps the couple's strong love that have kept them living in marital bliss, as well as them never arguing. Paul admits that he and his wife have never argued in their marriage; they don't see the point. They prefer to communicate.

"People get into fights because they don't communicate, because you don't want to hurt the other person," Paul said, "If you do want to hurt the other person, then shame on you, you're an a**hole. My wife and I don't argue. We talk. But we've never fought in our relationship," Paul added.

Communication and never arguing is the key to Paul and Parsekian's joyful marriage. The couple also has one child together.
