Carlo Ancelotti is one of the greatest coaches in recent soccer history. In fact, the man who has won three Champions League titles in his career is arguably on a planet of his own.

Which makes it fitting that he will make an appearance in the upcoming "Star Trek Beyond."

According to WhatCulture, the superstar coach will appear in the new movie as a doctor.

WF Commentaries tweeted out, "According to @Corriereit, @MrAncelotti will make a cameo role in the next 'Star Trek Beyond' movie as a doctor. Scene filmed in Vancouver."

Other soccer personalities to feature in movies include Vinnie Jones, Alan Shearer and Frank Laboeuf.

Jones appeared as the Juggernaut in "X-Men: The Last Stand," but has also made appearances in such films as "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," "Snatch," "Gone in 60 Seconds," "Eurotrip" and "Company of Heroes." He will also appear in the upcoming "The Magnificent Seven."

Shearer was a Newcastle United star and English national team captain who appeared in such films as "Purely Belter," "Goal: The Dream Begins" and "Match of the Day."

Laboeuf was a Chelsea player that recently appeared in "The Theory of Everything."

Ancelotti's resume includes years in Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. He has won three Champions League titles, two FIFA Club World Cup titles, three league titles and a number of other major awards.

With Real Madrid he won La Decima, and also took home the Copa del Rey in his first season. Unfortunately he could not get the team to rekindle its magic in his second season and came away with two minor trophies but none of the major ones.

Ancelotti is currently not managing any club though there is seems to be interest from AC Milan and he could be a viable option at Chelsea if Jose Mourinho were to get fired.
