The next episode of "Criminal Minds" will be scary and intense as the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) investigates a street artist turned serial killer who incorporates the bodies of murder victims into artwork.

A preview of Wednesday night's all-new episode, which is entitled "The Night Watch," shows the BAU team digging into a case involving an artist who puts murder victims on display in street art in Detroit.

"Someone is turning death," says the narrator in the trailer video, "into a work of art."

The episode, which will be directed by series star Thomas Gibson, will also include a storyline involving Dr. Tara Lewis' personal life. According to the synopsis, Aisha Tyler's character will be torn between working with the BAU and making time for her fiancé. Her struggle to balance her relationship and her career may in turn lead to the psychologist's departure from the show since Tyler was cast in a reoccurring role to temporary replace actress AJ Cook, who is on maternity leave, reports CarterMatt.

Earlier this month, Cook confirmed in an Instagram photo that she will reprise her role as JJ on the series in Episode 7.

According to CarterMatt, the synopsis reads as follows:

"When the BAU investigates incidents of bodies being incorporated into macabre graffiti art in Detroit, they suspect an elusive-yet-notorious street artist could be the UnSub. Also, Dr. Lewis struggles to balance her relationship with her fiancé and her work, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Thomas Gibson directed the episode."

Fans can also look forward to seeing another episode directed by actor Joe Mantegna next week.

Season 11 Episode 5 of "Criminal Minds," "The Night Watch," will premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
