'Street Fighter 5' Full Roster Leaked; Dhalsim, Two New Characters Revealed
New details about "Street Fighter 5" were leaked. The report on GameRant revealed the full roster of characters including the new ones that are rumored to be part of the game come its official release date.
Even though Capcom has been mum about further details on "Street Fighter 5," some data miners were able to unearth interesting details about the game after the release of the second beta version of the upcoming fighting game.
The recent discoveries noted that there will be 17 fighters to be featured in the game. Fourteen "Street Fighter 5" characters have been officially unveiled so this means that there are three more newly discovered from the data mine that are yet to be announced by Capcom.
The Neogaf post cited by the Gamerant report revealed that Dhalsim is one of the confirmed new characters to be featured in "Street Fighter 5." Referred by others as "Great Yoga Master Dhalsim," this character was first featured in "Street Fighter II" as one of the eight major characters included in the game.
The two new characters are not yet known but from the data mine of the full "Street Fighter 5" roster, they are tagged with three letters. "FAN" and "TUT" are the codes for these two new characters.
Folks from GameRant are diffident to regard them as new additional characters. According to the post, it is likely that one of these two newly discovered characters will be the game's boss.
The roster of official characters announced for "Street Fighter 5" include Ryu, Nash, M. Bison, Chun-Li, Cammy and Ken. Gamers can also choose Birdie, Vega, Necalli, Rashid, R. Mika, Karin, Zangief and Laura as their character in the latest installment for Capcom's game.
Aside from the leaked roster of "Street Fighter 5" characters, there are additional files uncovered that are related to backgrounds. This also triggered speculations about downloadable characters to be available in the game later on.
Despite these recent discoveries about "Street Fighter 5," fans of Capcom's fighting game are suggested to take all these with a grain of salt. The details leaked about the game remain as rumors until the game producer Capcom made the official announcement.
Official release date for "Street Fighter 5" has not been specified yet. However, it is expected that the game will arrive before the current fiscal year ends, meaning the game will most likely ship before March 31, 2016.
