Microsoft is not holding back when it comes to their marketing strategies. This time, they are setting their eyes on converting Macbook users. 

According to a report from TechRadar, Microsoft is primarily capitalizing on the Surface Book's premium design, such as its detachable screen and overall aluminum build, to attract Macbook users.

However, that's only the top of the iceberg as Microsoft has more to offer. For those who are thinking of changing to Microsoft, the tech giant has provided an easy process of migrating files and documents from the Macbook to Surface Book. Also, in terms of the Suface Book's performance and hardware features, Microsoft is confident that their flagship laptop is at par to what Macbook can offer or more.

According to Microsoft, they value the consumers' need to keep their files and documents intact as well as the comfort of using the Macbook. But should they decide to switch to Surface Book, they have made all the necessary actions in order to make the transition smoother and simpler.

First, Microsoft advises those who wish to switch to go through the basics of Windows 10. By learning the basics, Mac users will be able to make the transition more convenient and lessen minimal setbacks once they have jumped ship. 

The company has also provided tips for Macbook users on how to go through the Surface Book. Microsoft even made a dedicated page that will introduce how to move photos and files to the Surface Book.

The tech giant also assures ex-Macbook users that navigating through the Surface Book is not complicated because it is designed to compliment other Apple features such as the iPhone, iCloud and iTunes. 

For example, installing iTunes on the Surface Book will bring everything you have downloaded in it too; all you have to do is authorize the Surface Book to play your iTunes files. Also, the iPhone works perfectly with the new Surface Book and everything you have saved on the iCloud will still be accessible when you switch to Surface Book.

What's more interesting about the Microsoft Surface Book is the fact that everything you have saved as favorite on your Safari browser will still be accessible on the Microsoft Edge browser.

Since one of Microsoft's targets in releasing the Surface Book is converting Macbook users, they obviously did everything they can to make transitioning easier, including stating every positive reason on why Macbook users should do the switch.
