The latest iPad Pro release date reports include moving it by next year but can possibly indicate a better set of specs to be featured.

The highly anticipated 12.9 inch iPad Pro will have a delayed release date according to Digitimes to at least the start of early 2015. Christian Post wrote that the said report claims that the Cupertino-tech giant is going through some serious challenges on the production of bigger tablets which eventually forced them to put back their scheduled plans.

Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the trusted tech analysts and lead leaks sources of today made also a confirmation about its 2015 re-scheduled release. However, the KGI Securities analyst added that Apple will launch an iPad Air that is packed with a faster A8 processor and the Touch ID sensor. It was also emphasized that along with the moved iPad Pro release date, it will also be offered in limited supply only.

"We believe Apple plans to launch upgraded iPad Air early this year, and will accelerate development of 12.9" iPad," the report stated.

The analyst furthermore emphasized that the upcoming iPad Pro will serve as a major driver for app developers to come up with more interactive apps that will match a larger screen. Apple is also reportedly putting on top of their priority an OS for their iWatch for this year.

"Even if it (a larger iPad) does make an appearance this year, shipments will be low," Kuo added according to Apple Insider.

Other iPad Pro speculations include its expected shipment number to fall around 30 million units during the first half of this year. On the other hand, another analyst by the name of Matt Margolis mentioned in a report that the Apple Arizona sapphire plant could come up with around 100 to 200 million display covers on an annual basis. The analyst based it on his findings according to custom records that show the number of sapphire furnaces delivered to the facility in Arizona by GT Advanced Technologies.
