The new and official "Dead Effect 2" release date has been officially announced. The latest version of the sci-fi mobile game will be available this month, Droid Gamers reported.

"Dead Effect 2" was initially set for a September 2015 release date. Apparently, it was delayed but the game developer, Badfly Interactive, previously announced the new launch schedule for the new version of the game. Accordingly, it will arrive tomorrow, October 29.

The publication cited the recent announcement from the developer. According to Badfly's statement, as posted on the game's official website, they wanted to make sure that they can deliver "Dead Effect 2" for both Android and iOS platform and that gamers will "be playing a final product, properly tested and debugged, the way it was meant to be."

A few months back, a trailer for "Dead Effect 2" was posted on Youtube by the official channel of BadFly Interactive, the game developer. Watch it below:

Mobile gamers excited for "Dead Effect 2" for Android and IOS can expect high-quality graphics, different kinds of deadly enemies and a wide range or upgradeable weapons of different sizes and calibers. Among all these, Badfly's game will highlight a "complex and enticing story supplemented by a number of individual missions."

According to the game description, the "Dead Effect 2" story will take the players back to the ESS Meridian, exactly as where the original plot concluded. But there is no way to relax and be complacent as "something is brewing deep within the recesses of the spaceship," the game description further said.

In "Dead Effect 2," there are three playable characters who will be challenged to unique boss fights. There are also implants available to enhance the character's body.

"Dead Effect 2" has been optimized for Tegra devices. Also, owners of the new NVidia SHIELD 4K console can also enjoy this science fiction action game as the upcoming "Dead Effect" game is also well-optimized for the device.

During the game's announcement few months ago, Badfly revealed that they partnered with the tech company nVidia so it will have maximum support for all Tegra chips and the latest Shield console.

The original "Dead Effect" game was downloaded more than 8 million times. After this success, BadFly aims to "create a new generation of a mobile action shooter, offering you intense gaming experience in console quality, extended with a load of brand-new gaming elements."
