Just days after NBA 2K14 introduced new emerald class of players in the MyTeam mode, a 2K Sports representative confirmed that the new feature was having some issues.

"The #NBA2K14 development team is aware of and investigating the reports of emerald players missing/disappearing in #MyTEAM," Ronnie 2K said on Twitter just before the weekend.

One of the most enjoyable parts about this year's basketball video game has been the addition of older teams and older legendary players from previous eras. Thus, the addition of the Emerald class of players came as no surprise to many who welcomed it.

"This collection, entitled the 'Biggest Movers,' includes players who have updated attributes reflective of their play this NBA season," 2K Sports had said on its website when it introduced the feature. "You ONLY have the chance of obtaining an Emerald player through the 'Season Update' pack. Opening up the 'Season Update' pack will give you the chance of earning an Emerald player."

NBA 2K14 also introduced a MyTeam Golden Team tournament in what was yet another move to expand its team and game modes. Gamers now have all sorts of opportunities to play with unique teams rather than just the current contemporary teams.

One player that has enjoyed a resurgance of popularity is Allen Iverson. The star recently was honored by the Philadelphia 76ers when the team retired his number. The timing of it all was phenomenal considering that NBA 2K14 released an update just a few days later that featured Iverson and the rest of the Sixers' 2000-01 NBA finals team. This was yet another pack addition to MyTeam.

In other news, there has not been locker codes announced in recent days but NBA 2K14 did say that there are now new chase card collections, so you can check it out at their blog.
