"Gilmore Girls" is one of the most beloved television series of the recent decade, and the mother-daughter tandem of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore has been the standard of family dynamics since their debut. The recent confirmation of the show's revival has sent the fans buzzing. Now, more details have dropped on the much-anticipated dramedy on Netflix.

According to a report from TV Line, the Netflix version of "Gilmore Girls" will feature four 90-minute episodes that will represent each of the seasons: a winter chapter, a spring chapter, a summer chapter and a fall chapter.

It's a unique method that could work and be easier on the cast members, who are all off doing their own projects. The revival series of "Gilmore Girls" is set in present day, eight years after the series ended.

Executive producer Daniel Palladino will reportedly write and direct all the chapters and some of the key cast members are already in negotiations with the team behind the revival including Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson.

Other familiar faces from Stars Hollow may also reprise their roles for the series' comeback including Jared Padalecki, who played Dean Forester and Rory's first love.

According to a report from Enstarz, Padalecki revealed that he talked with the "Gilmore Girls" creator recently and the subject of a reunion came up.

"At the time of the reunion it was not in the works yet," he said during the Creation Entertainment's Salute to Supernatural in Chicago. "Obviously something in the last four months has changed because now they've announced it. [Sherman-Palladino] told me flat out that anything she does with 'Gilmore Girls' again will have me in it."

He added, "Hopefully some of it films when I have time off."

Production schedule will play a huge part in determining who will get to appear in the revival as many of the key cast members of "Gilmore Girls" are now working in other projects including Padalecki in "Supernatural", Liza Weil in "How to Get Away With Murder" and Matt Czuchry in "The Good Wife."

Another one of Rory's ex-boyfriends, Milo Ventimiglia as Jess, also revealed the possibility of being on the revival during the Wizard World Tulsa pop culture convention, according to Tulsa World.

Ventimiglia said he received an email from the producers, adding, "Just to be able to speak their words again, of course I would do it. So I told them, yeah, of course I'll do it."

"There is a bit of business to figure out because they'll film sometime in the next year, so it's not for certain, but there are very good intentions to be a part of it," he continued. "I'm sure somewhere around January, I'll know if I am or not or what."
