Star Trek: Into Darkness star Chris Pine just got into trouble for what he took former co-star Lindsay Lohan to task over: he just pled guilty to DUI in a New Zealand court!

Variety has reported that the initial DUI incident happened on March 1 -- at that time, Pine was pulled over after leaving a wrap party for the upcoming film, Z for Zachariah. Pine, 33, told the arresting officer that he had four vodka drinks at the party; his blood alcohol level measured .11, which is over New Zealand's legal limit of .08.

Pine's lawyer, Marilyn Gilchrist, told the court that her client was "extremely remorseful" for what he had done as she entered his guilty plea.

The judge, however, was unmoved: according to The Huffington Post, Pine was ordered to pay about $100 in fines and his New Zealand license has been suspended for the next 6 months.

The Blue Pub -- the venue that hosted the wrap party -- said that Pine was at the party with his Icelandic girlfriend, and released a statement absolving themselves of responsibility in the incident. "The pub was closed to the public later in the evening and approximately 80 actors and crew attended the party, which finished at 3 a.m. on March 1," the bar said in a statement. "This was a well-controlled party, the cast and crew were friendly and it was a great night, not a wild party. Chris Pine did not appear to staff to be intoxicated to a level where intervention might have been warranted."

Based on the post-apocalyptic science fiction novel released in 1974, Z for Zachariah also stars Margot Robbie and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Craig Zobel directs from an adapted script by Nissar Modi. Filming began in January 2014 on New Zealand's Banks Peninsula. This is the second adaptation of the book; In February 1984, the BBC presented a film adaptation for its Play for Today series in which the setting was changed from America to Wales.
