Puerto Rican actress Roselyn Sánchez was announced as one of the hosts for this year's Latin Grammy Awards, to be aired on Nov. 19.

According to Billboard, Sánchez, who is known for roles in films like "Rush Hour 2," "The Game Plan" and as one of the leads on the ABC show "Devious Maids," will be serving as co-host with Mexican actress and model Jacqueline Bracamontes for the award ceremony.

Bracamontes, who hosted the 2014 ceremony with Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez, is a beauty queen who represented Mexico at the 2001 Miss Universe pageant and won Nuestra Belleza México in 2000.

Sanchez rose to fame as a dancer and cohost on the Spanish-language show "Qué Vacilón" and has gone on to host other events like the Miss USA pageant, which she famously dropped out of, for the 2015 show, after the organization's owner, Donald Trump made his now infamous racist comments about Mexican immigrants.

"I simply cannot wait for November 19th to have the honor to host the 16 Annual Latin Grammy Awards. To be able to celebrate the best of Latin music with our incredible artists is going to be one of the most memorable nights of my life," Sánchez told Entertainment Weekly about her new gig. "I appreciate the opportunity and I'm very much looking forward to having a fantastic time with my colleagues, friends and fans."

The Latin Recording Academy also released a statement sharing their excitement over Sánchez taking on hosting duties at this year's ceremony.

"She has been an amazing supporter of the Latin GRAMMY Awards for many years and is passionate about her culture and understands the role music plays in the Latino community. We're excited to see her take the stage on Nov. 19th in Las Vegas," Gabriel Abaroa Jr., President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy.

The Latin Grammy Awards will include artist from various parts of the world who are nominated for music's most prestigious award and will include performances from J Balvin, Juan Luis Guerra, Matisse, Raquel Sofia and Bomba Estéreo featuring Will Smith.

The award show will air on Univision and is set to be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
