Doubts whether Caroline Flack will be able to host the "X-Factor UK" live shows on Saturday were on ultimate high after Flack herself admitted she is ill. However, her representative has set those doubts aside after confirming Flack will be able to commit to her "X-Factor" duties.

Flack's spokesperson has denied speculations of the hosts' anticipated absence from the "X-Factor UK" this weekend. In a statement sent to Mirror UK, the spokesperson confirmed that "Caroline is absolutely fine and will be honouring her commitments to The X Factor this weekend."

"She is currently signing books today," the spokesperson added, referring to Flack's book signing commitments on her autobiography "Storm in a C Cup" in Kent.

Another source told The Sun that the 35-year old is currently resting to get plenty of rest for Saturday's "X-Factor UK" event. Flack reportedly doesn't want to miss hosting this season's first ever live shows.

"She has been resting at home and doing everything she possibly can to recover in time to make it on stage with Olly on Saturday night. Even if she does recover on time, it's fair to say she may not be at her very best," the source said.

Fans reportedly first speculated that Flack won't be able to make it to this weekend's shows because of her lack of airtime. She has been missing the show's challenges for the past weeks. However, her spokesperson told Mirror UK that Flack only had a brief appearance on the six chair challenge because of her commitment to another show. The spokesperson said she was filming her winners dance for the BBC show "Strictly Come Dancing."

"We had agreed in advance that she would be able to do this," the spokesperson told Mirror UK.

Flack also fuelled the speculations after she took to her Instagram to tell her followers that she is not feeling well. She shared a makeup-free photo of herself looking a little unwell. She captioned the picture, "Massive fluey shout out to @thewhitmore for her launch tonight! Sorry I can't be there.... He's me in my fave Daisy necklace for you Laura !! You are LOVELY."

The source for The Sun also said that Flack has not been feeling well this week. The source further commented on how it would be such an unfortunate coincidence if the 35-year-old gets sick in the weekend because she would miss hosting the first live shows for the "X-Factor UK."
