In Thursday night's Halloween-themed episode of "The Originals," Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will end up crashing a fancy masquerade gala devised to initiate Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) into an ancient order of vampires.

In the next episode, which is titled "A Walk on the Wild Side," Marcel will receive an offer to join a secret society of vampires called The Strix. However, Elijah and Hayley will crash his fancy initiation dance, which may lead to violence and even death.

During an interview with TVLine, Davis teased that his character will have a strong chemistry with Aya (guest star Tracy Ifeachor), the woman who invited him to the gala as her honored guest.

"I think there's pretty good chemistry there," Davis said of Marcel and Aya. "But I also think that each one of them, alone, would have chemistry with a balloon. They're pretty charismatic people. But, yes, something is brewing there, and there's more of that in this upcoming episode -- including a great scene at the end that I think people will love."

Davis added that Marcel will also find Aya and the secret society very intriguing.

"I think he finds it all pretty mysterious and intriguing," the actor told Entertainment Weekly. "There's something that piques his curiosity given the fact that everything's so mysterious. They come to town and they're smart and talented and they're much, much older. But with Aya particularly, she definitely impressed him when she took out some of his best guys. So she's the point person who he has into the Strix."

In a preview video for the episode, executive producer Julie Plec also teases that Elijah and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will find out more about their sired line of vampires, as they continue to dig into why Tristan (guest star Oliver Auckland) is really in New Orleans.

"In order to uncover what his old acquaintance Tristan is really up to in New Orleans, Elijah considers attending a gala thrown by a mysterious group of ancient vampires known as The Strix, while Hayley invites herself to attend with him. There, Marcel is approached with an enticing offer made by a mysterious woman named Aya, but he quickly realizes that things are not always what they seem. Elsewhere, when a vital component of Lucien's (guest star Andrew Lees) plan goes missing, he and Klaus form a tentative alliance in order to find it. Riley Voelkel also stars."

Season 3 Episode 4 of "The Originals," "A Walk on the Wild Side," will premiere on The CW on Thursday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. ET.
