'The Leftovers' Season 2, Episode 5 Spoilers: More Drama to Come
The trailer for Episode 5 of Season 2 of the HBO series "The Leftovers" has been released, and with it comes a lot more drama.
According to the International Business Times, the synopsis for the episode reveals things are going to get worse for the people living in the town of Miracle before they can get any better.
Episode 5, "No Room at the Inn," will bring a lot more chaos to Miracle and problems for the most troubled residents, including Matt Jamison.
The promo video reveals Matt, played by Christopher Eccleston, will take his ill wife, Mary, played by (Janel Moloney), to find out what is wrong with her and how to fix her condition, keeping part of her body paralyzed.
Once Matt and Mary try getting back in the town they aren't allowed, leaving them stranded and to fend for themselves along with the dangerous and stranded people outside the protected town.
Also revealed in the promotional teaser is the possibility of the two girls that went missing in the previous episode being found.
Patti, played by Ann Dowd, told Kevin, portrayed by Justin Theroux, in Episode 4 the girls departed. While fans weren't expecting to see Patti this season, since she slit her own throat in Season 1, her presence in the show is still very strong.
Gowd's character has been appearing this season as a ghost that only Kevin can see and talk to. Dowd recently discussed her character's return with The New York Post.
"I'm not sure she knows what she's doing there," Dowd said.
"Her suicide was not a mistake. She is present in Kevin's life. She provokes him. She messes with him. They work in tandem. When she's steady, he's askew. When he's not afraid, she loses her footing."
