Agent Melinda May is back in Phil Coulson's agency and a new villain may strengthen Grant Ward's HYDRA on the sixth episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." this season three titled "Among Us Hide..."

A new trailer showed May (Ming-Na Wen), the Cavalry, entering S.H.I.E.L.D. again. She has a very strong determination to make Ward (Brett Dalton) pay for what he did to her former husband, Dr. Andrew Garner (Blair Underwood).

In the fourth episode, Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) and May tried to bring down Ward and HYDRA. However, Ward already devised a plan to stop them easily. He meant to kill Garner if they would proceed. However, Hunter engaged in shooting with Ward's team, leading to Garner's presumed death, Comic Book noted. It is not yet confirmed if Garner has already been killed, although the trailer seems to suggest it.

The teaser shows Agent Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki), whom Ward tortured last season, uniting with May in the same goal. The two highly skilled women fighting together is an exciting treat for their fans.

Meanwhile, at Ward's camp, Gideon Malick (Powers Boothe) a high-profile member of the old HYDRA contacted Ward, Screen Rant noted.

A YouTube clip shows Malick conversing with Ward. Although he appears to be intimidating, he may be an asset to Ward. Even though he pointed to Ward that he has made several mistakes in rebuilding the group, he seems to be someone HYDRA and Ward need to attain his goal.

Yet, Malick is an interesting character. Entertainment Weekly noted that series' executive producer Jeph Loeb has described him as someone who could spark anybody's interest.

"Gideon is incredibly menacing and in him we have a character that even the stone-cold Grant Ward would fear. Only someone of Powers caliber could deliver the type of ominous and powerful performance we needed," Loeb said.

ATCU's secret

Some events may also lead for the agency to doubt or question Rosalind Price's (Constance Zimmer) unit, ATCU, basing on the episode's synopsis, per Comic Book Resources. The synopsis reads as follows:

"The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy [Chloe bennet] and Coulson [Clark Gregg] begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D."
