'Fifty Shades Darker' Movie News Update, Rumors: A Look At Jamie Dornan's Busy Schedule
Jamie Dornan may be busy next year with "Fifty Shades Darker" but the actor is likely to become an even higher profile when his next three films come out.
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" star had one of the busiest years as he released the first installment to the franchise and was a huge success. It was later rumored that he would get a raise for the next film and would go bare.
Besides his work on the E.L. James adaptation, the actor was busy filming three movies, which will likely to be released next year.
The first of the three is entitled "The 9th Life of Louis Drax." The movie stars Sarah Gadon ("A Dangerous Method") and Aaron Paul ("Breaking Bad") and it is directed by Alexandre Aja ("Mirrors"). The movie is a thriller about a psychologist who starts to work with a young boy who has suffered a near fatal fall.
Dornan will also star in "Jadotville," which will star Mark Strong ("Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy") and is directed by Richie Smyth. The movie sees Dornan star as Irish Commandant Pat Quinan who lands a standoff with troops against French and Belgian mercenaries.
Finally the last film he'll be in is "Anthropoid" and is based on the true story of two Czechoslovak soldiers who are sent to assassinate the head of the SS. The movie also stars Cilian Murphy and Charlotte Le Bon.
No release dates are set for the three films as they are all in post-production. However, expect festival screenings for the films and expect the actor to be attending a lot of red carpets.
Dornan and Dakota Johnson return to "Fifty Shades" in January after casting is done and once filming begins. As of late actor James has been active on social media showing off the progress of the film. No date has been announced on when production will begin. However, it is expected to begin in February.
