Chiquis Rivera recently silenced critics who believe she has profited from the legacy of her mother Jenni Rivera.

According to TVNotas, the younger singer claimed she was not included in her mother's will, which divided a reported 300 million among her children.

"All of the money is going to my siblings. The kids need to eat," Chiquis Rivera said. "Johnny is 14 years old. Because of that, I can't say that her money is going to the Jenni Rivera Love Foundation."

Beyond her siblings' inheritance, Chiquis Rivera revealed that her mother made sure the money would be divided in a just manner, explaining that her aunt Rosie Rivera got a cut as well.

"[Rosie] does receive a salary. My mother was very intelligent. In her will, the kids can't receive her money until they are 25. They get a percentage at that age, then at 30 and finally at 35. After that, they don't receive anything else," she explained.

When asked for specific details about her mother's fortune and how much she left behind, Chiquis Rivera revealed that she doesn't worry about that.

"I don't know. I don't get involved in that. I feel really good. I feel that I have a gift and a big blessing that is love and the support of the public," she added.

Rosie Rivera is in charge of handling Jenni Rivera's estate and fortune. She reportedly receives a cut from the proceeds of Jenni Rivera-related projects, such as the recent book "Jenni Vive," which gave fans a look at the iconic star's personal life through a series of photos, letters and diary entries.

The book was considered a gift and message to fans from "La Diva de la Banda," and it included direct quotes and inspiring messages from the star to her fans, according to LA Weekly.

"If I had the opportunity to speak to a young immigrant girl who just arrived in the U.S., the advice I would have for her would be: Ask, speak and search, because there are opportunities here," Jenni Rivera said in the book. "And remember that you aren't the only immigrant, nor the last to come to this country. Many that have come before you have succeeded. It is possible!"
