Bill Cosby Sex Assault Case Update: Camille Cosby Allegedly Paid Off Family Nanny Over Sex Attack
Camille Cosby once allegedly paid off a family nanny to keep her quiet about being sexually attacked by husband Bill Cosby.
Radar Online reports the explosive allegations first came to light when Cosby's daughter Ensa shared the claims with a confidant while both were undergoing substance abuse treatment.
"Ensa said it was an unwanted sexual advance and [the nanny] was hysterical," a source said of the incident rumored to have occurred sometime around 1997, the same year Cosby's 27-year-old son Ennis was killed in a botched robbery attempt in Los Angeles. Radar adds the source has since passed an independently administered polygraph exam.
The nanny is said to have been so traumatized she left the family's multimillion dollar estate, which is reportedly when Camille Cosby stepped in to "compensate" the alleged victim.
When Ensa grew older, Camille is said to have sat her daughter down to talk about all her father's alleged transgressions.
"Ensa came to the realization her father was not the wonderful family man he was portraying in public and that her whole upbringing had been a lie," a source added.
In all, the now 78-year-old Cosby has recently been accused of drugging and attacking more than 50 women over a span of for decades. He was recently forced to submit to a deposition hearing stemming from a defamation suit filed by former Playboy bunny and alleged victim Judy Huth.
Famed civil rights attorney Gloria Allred grilled Cosby for more than seven hours in Boston last month on behalf of her client. Cosby now also faces yet another interrogation related to a similar suit filed against him by former "America's Next Top Model" judge Janice Dickinson.
Through his attorneys, Cosby has steadfastly denied all the accusations and has never been criminally charged in connection with any of the cases.
