Veteran American boxing trainer Naazim Richardson predicted that Juan Manuel Marquez will emerge as the victor in his fifth match against the Filipino boxing sensation, Manny Pacquiao.

Richardson, who has trained "Sugar" Shane Mosley, is confident that Marquez will be able to repeat the results of their fourth match in December of 2012 when he sent Pacquiao to the floor during the sixth round, Boxing Scene reported.

According to the trainer, the Mexican boxer knows the secret on how to beat the Filipino fighter. In an interview with On The Ropes Boxing Radio, Richardson said, "I feel Marquez knows how to beat Pacquiao, I've always said that and I still stand with that. Marquez knows how to beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao is a special fighter to so he'll avoid the knockout, but I think Marquez just knows how to beat Pacquiao."

Richardson also added that Marquez should go for a knockout win because if he leaves the fight to the judges, there's a good chance they'll side with Pacquiao. "I think that can happen to Marquez with a Pacquiao fight now," he said.

"With the way he was flattened out, if Pacquiao's just - that's how I felt he won some of those other fights, his high activity, his hair shaking all over the place, him bouncing around and nothing is really happening," Richardson added. "The commentators say, 'Pacquiao lands again'...no, he didn't, but you look up and Pacquiao's got a decision. In that sense, I wouldn't like to see that happen to Marquez."

The fifth match between Pacquiao and Marquez has not yet been formally set but Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum clarified that the two will possibly meet in the ring again, depending on the outcome of their respective matches.

He said, "The winner of Pacquiao-Bradley will go against the winner of the Marquez-Alvarado. I remember that Jake [LaMotta] and Ray Robinson fought over five times, but whatever, I'd make a new Pacquiao-Marquez fight. Pacquiao is always ready to fight Marquez and he already said, 'Get me a fifth fight.'"

Pacquiao is set to fight Timothy Bradley for the second time on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marquez, on the other hand, will be facing off against Mike Alvarado at The Forum in Inglewood, California on May 17.
