Video gamers who love sports games are in for a special treat this year.

NBA 2K14 and MLB 14 The Show will be available via Sony in a special PS3 bundle that will be listed at only $90, which would save gamers approximately $30 off the original price.

Although next-gen video games continue to remain high in price, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are slowly but surely on their way out the door; this means one thing: price cuts. This new bundle is not too surprising considering the much higher popularity of the next-gen consoles at this point.

NBA 2K14 was a pleasant surprise in the gaming industry this year as the game shot to the top of the charts and has served as a very popular option for basketball fans. Moreover, the game's most popular athlete in LeBron James was the main theme of the game and the Miami Heat star also graced the cover of the game.

In other news related to NBA 2K14, a roster update was announced this week by Ronnie 2K, one of the game's top ambassadors. Interestingly enough, Ronnie 2K also said that NBA 2K14 is hoping to organize a special celebrity team, which could be quite an interesting change. It would mark yet another step in NBA 2K14's push in creating as many different team options as possible. From the very beginning of the game, 2K Sports marketed the MyTeam mode and announced European teams.

Ronnie 2K also mentioned new locker codes, and a link was provided to help direct you to them. You will need to access them via the Facebook application for desktop.
