Viber has been very popular on mobile and tablet devices as well as PCs, reaching a large number of users. Viber does not limit its service to free calling using data and Wi-Fi sources, but has also enabled the ability to call non-viber users at a very minimal charge.

The update may not show much difference in appearance, but new additions such as a heart appearing next to group chats will likely say what has been contributed and talked about the chat. Public chats on Viber has now been assimilated to tablets. Thus, users do not need always need to use a mobile phone to access the feature.
