"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will soon get its mods and maps for the PC version, Treyarch confirmed.

Indeed, fans can now expect that the developer, Treyarch, will soon release some new features for the game's PC version. The plan is to launch the new project by March 2016 but not without some reminders that the new project will be in its developmental stage. In relation to that, fans should also expect a rather bumpy ride on the new venture until such time that the developers can perfectly launch the new PC version.

Attack of the Fan Boy rounded up the whole "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" PC mods and they came up with a few but rather concrete details on what to expect with the upcoming Treyarch venture. Since it is slated to launch next year, don't expect any part of it to make any sort of appearance at the upcoming launching of the game this November. However, fans would be delighted to know that the game will enable them to create their own mods and maps as well as tools for the Unranked Dedicated Server Files.

Treyarch is not one of the developers that enjoys giving the control to players, but this time, they are stepping out of their comfort zone to give fans something different. Treyarch hopes that this feature will give a boost to the PC version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops III." Although there have been no detailed information about the type of modification that Treyarch will give, fans can rely on the idea that Steam Workshop has something exciting to offer next year when it makes its initial release.

Meanwhile, Activision Blizzard, owner of the "Call of Duty" series, surprisingly made a huge investment by buying the household online game maker of "Candy Crush Saga," King Digital.

According to Independent, Activision Blizzard shed a staggering amount of $5.9 billion to buy and include King Digital under its wings. Activision Blizzard has proudly announced that they are now the global leader in mobile gaming after the acquisition was sealed.

Despite the acquisition, Ireland-based King Digital Entertainment will continue to operate independently. However, the two companies will share the most popular franchises in the world of gaming such as "Candy Crush," "Candy Crush Soda Saga," "Call of Duty" series and "World of Warcraft."

The partnership will incessantly produce blockbuster online games in the future, granting that they work smoothly with each other. What do you think of the new venture of Activision Blizzard?
