New footage has been released from the upcoming film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" that will have some avid fans of the franchise jumping for joy, as Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) appear close to reconciliation in the clip.

In a major plot twist in the Part 1 of the final film, Peeta attacked Katniss, apparently in a state of total hysteria and under the effects of brainwashing. With the release of the new clip, there is confirmation that Peeta, although not completely healed, will make his way back toward Katniss.

The two have been together throughout the entire franchise thus far, fighting against all odds and involved in a love triangle, which transcends the "victims of circumstance" battles that they are forced to fight.

The pair have essentially come too far in their fight to be ripped apart. This new clip shows that there are still strong enough feelings between them to motivate both to work hard to get his mind right.

In another clip released by the franchise, Katniss has a heart-to-heart with Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) during what appears to be a celebration complete with Irish style music, dancing and general festivities. The two talk about Johanna and Peeta's imprisonment and torture by President Snow (Donald Sutherland).

"I'm going to kill Snow," Katniss says in the clip. Mason responds with a sadistic and vengeful smile, apparently whole-heartedly pleased with Katniss' decree.

"Nothing good is safe is while he's alive and I can't make another speech about it," Katniss adds.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the celebration featured in the clip is actually Annie Cresta (Stef Dawson) and Finnick's (Sam Claflin) wedding, the culmination of the characters' relationship since the "Catching Fire" installment of the film franchise.

The final installment in "The Hunger Games" series will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
