The Pokémon Company International released its latest gameplay soundtrack with music from the fourth generation.

The Pokémon Company digitally remastered the tunes heard in Pokémon Diamond Version and "Pokémon Pearl Version," which were games for the Nintendo DS released in 2007 across Europe and the United States. The games were first released in Japan on Sept. 2006.

The soundtrack to the fourth generation, titled Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl: Super Music Collection, contains music from the Sinnoh region. The 149 songs, ranging in length from four seconds to nearly five minutes, can be purchased for $9.99. If a buyer prefers to buy just one song, it'll cost $0.99 per song.

The digital-remastered music includes tunes such as the Wild Pokémon Battle, gym leader battle, Team Galactic's various themes, and Pokémon League Champion Cynthia's battle theme.

Fan reviews for the soundtrack has been positive as seen exclusively on Apple's iTunes Store.

"Game Freak is maintaining their promise of releasing all the Pokémon game soundtracks and this by far has been my favorite. If you love the series' music, then this is a must buy for your collection," wrote Angry dudeH, giving the soundtrack five stars.

"As always, it's a great soundtrack," reviewed Drjbsm. "I'm shocked that I was actually able to download this one without any problems like all of the others have had. Thankfully, they seemed to have fixed whatever problem was causing that."

Stoutz123 wrote, "['Pokémon Pearl Version'] was my first game and I love the music! It is some of the best in the series! I just need to download it now. Hope it works!"

The release of Pokémon Diamond & Pokémon Pearl: Super Music Collection marked the fifth soundtrack collection released by The Pokémon Company International following Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: Super Music Collection, Pokémon FireRed & Pokémon LeafGreen: Super Music Collection, Pokémon HeartGold & Pokémon SoulSilver: Super Music Collection, and Pokémon Ruby & Pokémon Sapphire: Super Music Collection.

Two additional "Super Music Collections" are expected for release soon from the fifth-generation games Pokémon Black and White and its sequels Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Release dates for the music collection for the fifth-generation games have not been confirmed.

The Pokémon Diamond and Pearl games were the fastest-selling Pokémon games of its time with one million copies sold in the U.S. during its first week.
