Lara Croft is coming. With the launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider a few days away, Crystal Dynamics unveils the last episode of "Woman Vs. Wild" online. The latest video is entitled "Deadly Tombs" and shows how the heroine's explorations are more dangerous than ever -- but she's never been more equipped to handle them than now.

According to a report from WinBeta, Lara's new language skills are the key to uncovering the secret tombs in Rise of the Tomb Raider. With the Translation System, and discovering scrolls, monoliths and murals, the heroine can learn three languages and find out information that leads her to hidden tombs and crypts -- and even Challenge Tombs.

As with any new installment in a franchise, the journey is more challenging than ever: the puzzles and traps are more difficult to survive, and the tombs are much grander and bigger so it takes much more time and effort to get through everything unscathed.

Handy rewards make the effort going through challenges worth it though, as the perks and Ancient Abilities include weapons and tools that allow for an easier journey ahead.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider is filled with breathtaking main tombs, devious challenge tombs and claustrophobic crypts, each filled with artifacts, clues and untold secrets waiting to be discovered," the voiceover narrated as the video ended.

It looks like a treacherous adventure ahead for Lara. Rise of the Tomb Raider writer Rhianna Pratchett spoke about Lara Croft and her character development in an interview with Game Spot last month.

"She is a survivor," Pratchett explained the next step in Lara's development. "It's more of an emotional trap than a physical one. She's seen the game's antagonists do terrible things to those that get in their way, and she's now more mentally prepared to fight fire with fire."

She added, "And although she's not 100 percent comfortable with this, she's starting to come to the conclusion that for whatever reason, she's someone that can do this."

The new Lara is off to her deadliest challenge yet and the audience gets to take a peek ahead of the release date with a gameplay video from Polygon. The two-hour footage gives a comprehensive look at the early areas of the adventure, particularly the the Prophet's Tomb and the Soviet Installation hub area.

Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One and Xbox 360 is slated to be released on Tuesday, Nov. 10. The PC and PlayStation 4 versions will be launched in 2016.
