Business mogul and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is now demanding he be paid to appear on any future debates for the Republican nomination for president of the United States.

According to Deadline, who cited an interview from ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, Trump did not want to sign a list of demands made by the other candidates for the nomination. Instead, he had his own demands, which seemed to be more in line with what entrepreneur is all about.

Trump said the networks have been making a lot of money off their appearances on debates so far, and the candidates have been seeing none of that money. So in debates moving forward, he wants to be paid for his appearances on debates from the respective networks that organize and broadcast them.

He also thinks the three-hour debate should be done away with and demands all debates should only be two hours instead.

Although Trump did add he would be turning over the money he makes off the debates to charities that help wounded veterans, he did not specify what charities he had in mind. That did not seem to be a binding assertion but rather a blanket statement of what he intends to do with the money.

"I don't think it should be three hours. ... And I'd like money, frankly," Trump said.

"The networks are making a fortune with the debate. I'd like to see the wounded warriors and the veterans, get some of the profits. I mean, we're going in, we're getting nothing, and that's fine. But [the networks] are getting tremendous -- 23, 24 million people."

But in regards to the actual content within the debates, Trump seemed okay with whatever was thrown at him, which is a stark contrast to how he reacted to Fox's Megyn Kelly following their public fiasco post-debate.

"I personally don't care too much in terms of the debate. They've been hitting me one way or another. I guess I have been doing very well. I just want to have the debates. I like the debates," Trump said.
