With the upcoming dashboard update, Xbox One players can throwback to their favorite games of all time from the previous generation Microsoft console. A new leak revealed which famous games will be playable in the Xbox One New Experience, including hit titles that have stood the test of time.

It was revealed by Latin Post earlier this week that Microsoft will be announcing the final list of new backwards compatible titles on Monday, Nov. 9. Xbox executive Mike Ybarra took to Twitter to let the fans know of the good news saying, "For those asking, we'll announce the initial set of 100+ backward compatible titles on 11/9, just a few days before our [Xbox One New Experience] release!"

Unfortunately, someone else has beaten them to the punch.

According to a report from GottaBeMobile, the complete list of games available with Xbox One Backwards Compatibility was leaked by a fan site named Xbox Dynasty. While no confirmation has been announced by the Microsoft team, the leaked report has already hyped up the fans with a good number of beloved games from the previous generation consoles.

Famous franchise Halo will receive a boost with every game in the arsenal available through backwards compatibility including Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo Anniversary, Halo Wars, Halo: O.D.S.T. and Halo: Reach. Another well-represented franchise is Assassin's Creed with the title game, plus Assassin's Creed 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed III, Liberation: HD and Revelations.

Gears of War installments are also included, as well as Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Madden NFL 16, Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and many more.

It's a beefed-up collection that will likely boost the popularity of the Xbox franchise since long-time players will be able to play old favorites once again in their modern consoles. Xbox marketing boss Aaron Greenberg stresses the significance of this new feature in a recent interview with GameSpot.

"We're going to be the only next-gen console delivering backwards compatibility," Greenberg pointed out. "And we're launching that on November 12, we'll have over 100 games that basically come free of charge. If you own these titles, whether you have the disc sitting around or digitally, they'll automatically show up in your games library and, in many cases, more than double or triple your available games to play on Xbox One. ... There's tens of millions of Xbox 360 fans that are out there that are still playing on Xbox 360 and they're waiting for the right time and the right reason to migrate over to Xbox One."

Backwards compatibility comes with the Xbox One New Experience on Nov. 12.
