'Real Housewives of New Jersey," Teresa Giudice News: Brother Joe Gorga Owes Maid Thousands in Unpaid Bills?
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice's brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa are accused of owing their cleaning lady "thousands of dollars" in unpaid bills.
Radar Online reports the couple, who have a history of allegedly scamming relatives, friends and employees out of large sums of money, have recently resorted to their old ways, relentlessly working the cleaning woman nonstop for months without paying her a dime.
"The Gorgas made her clean their businesses, offices and house," a source said. "They ran up a $2,000 tab and never paid her."
The source later added, "They were terrible, horrible jobs they made her do. They made her work like a dog."
Word is the woman, reported to be putting her son through college while regularly volunteering to work with sick children, toiled for the couple for several weeks before realizing they had no intention of paying her.
"They are disgusting," a source said. "They keep doing this to everyone. The woman was so upset -- it's a real disgrace and real shame."
Not long ago, the Giudices appeared to be going through their own financial struggles, losing their Montville mansion to foreclosure after an unsuccessful last-ditch effort to save the property.
With Teresa serving out the remainder of her 15-month sentence on bank fraud-related charges and husband Joe slated to be jailed for nearly four years on similar charges after she is released, the couple fell far behind on monthly payments of $10,679.
Several media outlets have also reported the government has put a lien on Teresa's "Real Housewives" earnings until the family makes restitution on monies still owed to the government. She has already signed on to rejoin the cast of "RHONJ" once she is released from custody at the Danbury correctional facility sometime around Christmas.
